I have to take exception... I liked it. Just because it was not the same story that you expected -- was Batman Begins the same Batman you had "loved"? Perhaps it could/should have been called Robin Hood "Begins"... However, watching it with an open mind really makes this a delightful movie -- and actually much closer to the original folk tale -- or at least to the history of the time. I liked the bit of history with the magna carta and the over-taxation rather than the robbing from the rich to give to the poor -- fighting over-taxation and injustice is really more noble than theft. Guess the liberal bias runs from Hollywood to the media to critics as well (kidding). Everyone I went with really did like the movie.
